In spring 2017 I’m presenting two Macro Floral Painting Workshops and invite you to attend. Join us for a creative day in the studio and make a beautiful, large-scale floral painting. You’ll be guided through the painting process. Beginners are very welcome to attend.

Which materials to bring:
A canvas at least 50cms in any one direction and 4cms deep (or larger if you like!)
Acrylic paints, a good variety of firm brushes suitable for painting in acrylic, a fine water mister, 2 large water containers, a flat white paint palette, children’s coloured chalk, cloths.
Lunch and drink. Tea and coffee will be provided. Please wear old clothes and an apron. Once dry, acrylic paint cannot be washed out of clothing.
Bring an image of a flower that you would like to paint. Print one copy approx. a third (1/3) size of an A4 sheet of paper and a second copy half (½) an A4 size onto photocopy paper.
You are welcome to email me a copy of your selected flower and I can advise you on which paint colours to purchase or look at a colour chart.

This Hibiscus was painted in Canberra in 2016.
This Iris was painted in Bowral in 2016.
These paintings of the Peony, Chrysanthemums and the Yellow rose were painted during the
Mitchell Winter School in Bathurst, July 2017, which differ from the others in that it was a five day workshop.
