Macro Floral Acrylic Painting Workshops
The Macro Floral Painting Workshop is usually held on a weekend and runs for 6 hours.
Its often held in Bowral but I’ve also run the workshop in Canberra, Kiama, Cowra, Leeton and Wagga Wagga.
Here are some images showing what can be achieved in a six hour workshop.
The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as experienced artists.
Here are some photos from the Macro Floral painting workshops held in Bowral on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 February 2018. The weather was hot and paints dried quickly but we had a lovely day.
This workshop was held in Bowral on Sunday 29 October 2017. Participants came from Canberra, Wollongong, the South Coast and the Southern Highlands. Half the participants were absolute beginner painters. We had a great day.
The Art Society of Wagga Wagga, Saturday 26 August 2017
We had a great day painting with the members of the Wagga Wagga Art Society. Their studio is surrounded by gum trees and is near the Murrumbidgee River. The weather was fabulous and you can’t beat that country Australian hospitality. Thanks everyone.
Here are some images from the day.
Apiary Art and Design Cowra, NSW 17 -18 June 2017.
On 17 June 2017 I presented a workshop at April Troy’s new gallery Apiary Art and Design in Cowra. We had a fabulous weekend and the weather was fantastic. I even had time to see the beautiful Japanese Gardens in Cowra.

The Art Scene Mitchell School of Art Winter School 2017
I spent a week in July tutoring at the Art Scenes Mitchel School of Art in Bathurst. We had 12 participants from NSW and Victoria. They were a lovey group and we had fun painting.
In January 2018 the Summer Schoolwill be held. I’m looking forward to tutoring beginners in drawing, painting and pastel, macro floral and mixed media portraits. Each day will be a different medium.
